Wave Monarka is a revolutionary external filter with separate mechanical filtration system. Thanks to the special module prefilter it will be possible to satisfy all filtering needs simplifying maintenance exponentially. The suspended impurities, in fact, will be intercepted by the prefilter which, with a simple operation, can be washed without disassembling the central filter. All this, not only to save time, but to the advantage of the bacterial flora that will not be affected by ordinary maintenance. The easier and faster operation will also allow a greater frequency of interventions allowing an important reduction of the organic load and therefore of nitrates. The innovation of the prefilter allows many other advantages: the management of the resins, the treatment with carbons, etc; in a simple and immediate way. You can also increase or decrease the filter volume by adding or removing prefilter modules. It is advisable to clean the prefilter every 3-4 weeks to optimize the cleaning of the aquarium and its operation. Longer intervals are possible but to the detriment of the organic load. Even on special occasions, such as in the case of fish diseases that require frequent interventions in chemical filtering, the presence of the prefilter simplifies everything! Monarka can also be used without a prefilter, functioning as a TRADITIONAL FILTER.
