Zelkova Bonsai is a deciduous native to Japan, Taiwan and Korea, characterized by a gray and smooth bark and simple, oval, rough leaves above and hairless below. Their color varies according to the seasons: they are dark green during the summer and yellow, orange, red and purple in the autumn. This plant is the prototype of inverted broom style bonsai, with an erect trunk that divides into many branches and twigs.
TREATMENT: Zelkova Bonsai prefers a temperate climate and a location in a well-lit and sunny place, away from heat sources and drafts.
During the colder seasons it is good to place it in the apartment and place it less than a meter from the window, maintaining a temperature between 15 ° C and 25 ° C, while in the warmer seasons it is possible to place it also externally, taking care to put it in the penumbra .
